About the Foundation
The Sirdsfonds.lv provides the necessary help to anyone who asks for it. In today’s fast pace of life, we often forget about the part of Latvian society that needs the support of fellow human beings very much. These are low-income families and old, infirm old men who spend the rest of their lives in poverty and loneliness. The often modest pensions of Latvian elderly people often lead them to an unenviable situation when they have to look for any possible help. Also, as the economic situation in the country worsens, unfortunately more and more abandoned animals end up on the streets, who, like all of us, need shelter, food and a warm blanket. In such and similar cases, the support and care of fellow human beings is very necessary, which we can all provide together!
